Basilisk

"The Basilisk is a mythological serpent from Europe, described mainly in Italian legends, as in Ancient Rome. Its origins also pass through the Middle Ages, perpetuating until the present day.
It’s said that the creature born from a snake or frog egg hatched by a chicken or a chicken egg hatched by a frog or a snake. He has distinct descriptions, but in all is referred to as the King of the Serpents, and skillfully lethal, as a look that turns others into stone, and a deadly poison."
